ILLEGAL TAX IN LA COUNTY: A Taxing Decision Bernard & Bernard and Huskins & Brown have brought a class action lawsuit against Los Angeles County for the collection of $300 million in taxes, which may have to be refunded to thousands of Los Angeles County residents. In support of the suit, a favorable decision by the Court of Appeals recently denied the County's bid to force individual litigations rather than a class action.
